With a convenient location next door to Van Andel Arena, J. Gardella's Tavern has become a popular Grand Rapids restaurant and night spot. What once started as a warehouse, our turn of the century old building is now home to our rustic and charming storefront restaurant in the "Old Town" section of Grand Rapids. Since opening our doors in 1996 as a one-story restaurant, J. Gardella's has since grown to a three-level restaurant all with unique ambience. Our architecture and decor is affectionately similar to that of a Chicago tavern - complete with wooden floors, red brick walls, gorgeous hand-carved moldings, and even an embossed metal ceiling. In addition to our charming atmosphere, our menu is casual, yet utterly delectable. You will not leave disappointed when you dine at J. Gardella's.
